I haven't seen anything from people using RStudio server on AWS with students hitting the machine too.To install RStudio Server for use with Oracle Machine Learning for R: I teach intro level stats courses and would have about 20 students hitting it during classes and smaller numbers trickled out throughout the day working on homework and things. I don't mind paying something, but wanted to kind of get an idea of what type of architecture would work for my use purposes.

Does anyone have any experience with using AWS with RStudio server running on it and multiple students accessing? I teach about 45 students. I see that the t2.micro machine is free but I'm wondering how that would work with 20 students hitting it at a time. I was wondering if anyone had any experience running RStudio Server on AWS with students. Envisioning a future when this will involve some fees (starting in the fall), I wanted to find alternate options that would work for me that are reasonably priced (or free). I'm an educator at a high school and I've been using RStudio.CLOUD in beta version with my students (which I like).
